British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Games Awards merupakan salah satu anugerah tahunan yang dianjurkan oleh institusi BAFTA. Senarai calon-calon untuk tahun ini baru sahaja diumumkan.

Apa yang membuatkan acara tahun ini lebih menarik adalah terdapat dua permainan video yang memecah rekod jumlah calonan tertinggi. Death Stranding dan Control dicalonkan dalam 11 kategori tahun ini.

Hideo Kojima, pengarah Death Stranding, juga akan menerima Fellowship daripada BAFTA kerana sumbangannya dalam industri permainan video. Ramai penggemar permainan video mengenali beliau sebagai bapa kepada siri Metal Gear Solid.

Permainan video lain yang memperoleh calonan yang banyak adalah Disco Elyisum (tujuh calonan), Life is Strange 2 (lima calonan), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (lima calonan), dan Outer Wilds (lima calonan).

Satu perkara lucu yang penulis perasan ialah Death Stranding tidak dicalonkan dalam kategori Best Game walaupun ia antara permainan video yang mendapatkan pencalonan terbanyak.

Pada waktu yang sama, permainan video yang sangat ringkas seperti Untitled Goose Game dicalonkan dalam kategori Best Game.
