Level Up KL 2018: Learn To Create & Understand Better Esports In Esports Track

One of the tracks introduced for this year’s Level Up is Esports & Education, which is set to uncover the game industry needs and to discuss important matters for the future workforce and growing esports market.

The Esports Track that will be held on 30th October 2018 presents a focused insight on the gaming business that can support and grow meaningful, high-tier professional play alongside developers, publishers, esports community leaders and gamers.

Level Up KL attendees will get a chance to learn and discuss with professional players, journalists, content creators and grassroots player organisers in a day-long series of panels and presentations.

In “Ecosystem and Landscape of Esports” talk, Singtel International’s Benjamin Pommeraud will discuss the key factors to build an ecosystem that will deliver the experience to millions of gamers and to share tips on how to navigate our regional market.

Furthermore, learn the arts and crafts of creating good streaming contents in “Streaming Esports & Growing Your Community” with host Farouq Flava as he talks with streamer and professional player Han from Era of The Geeks and Astro Awani’s esports journalist Mariah Ahmad.

The local government’s effort in recognising competitive gaming is proven to be a significant step in pushing esports to the next level. While the negative perception of esports still impede the ongoing progress, what is exactly the current government’s actual stance in esports?
