Sempena sambutan ulangtahun ke-20 Xbox, Microsoft sudah menghasilkan 76 permainan daripada Xbox generasi pertama dan Xbox 360 sebagai permainan serasi ke belakang (backward compatible).

Bermula hari ini, permainan-permainan ini akan boleh dimainkan di konsol generasi baru iaitu Xbox One atau Xbox Series X|S.

Diumumkan semasa siaran langsung ulangtahun Xbox, senarai permainan serasi ke belakang (backward compability) itu termasuk kesemua siri Max Payne, Skate 2 dan lebih daripada 20 permainan Xbox generasi pertama. 

Mereka juga menyatakan kebanyakan permainan ini juga boleh dibeli secara digital bermula hari ini. Selain, menerima penambahbaikan resolusi, Auto HDR dan FPS Boost.
